We are showing a really interesting and inspiring movie this Friday April 20th.



'I Am' (or) 'The Shift Has Hit the Fan' 
is a documentary style movie 
by Director/Producer Tom Shadyac.  


His near death experience caused him to want to do something more meaningful than his comedy movies 
( which were blockbuster comedies like Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, Bruce Almighty)

Shadyac set out on a twenty-first century quest for enlightenment, meeting  with a variety of thinkers and doers–remarkable men and women from the worlds of science, philosophy, academia, and faith–including such luminaries as David Suzuki, Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Archbishop Desmond Tutu to name a few.

What he ended up with is a fresh, energetic, inspiring film that challenges our preconceptions about human behavior, while celebrating the indomitable human spirit.

Doors open at 6pm for our great pasta dinner special, with fresh homemade Marinera or Bolognese sauce 
(vegetarian or meat)    The  bar will be open!

Movie starts at sunset.  By donation.

Two sci-fi comic book writers get caught up with an ET called Paul, who is escaping the Government he has been giving future technology to, hoping to help him go back home. Two average sci-fi geeks get caught up in the ultimate interplanetary adventure after picking up an extraterrestrial during a road trip to Area 51 and becoming the targets of a nationwide manhunt. Graeme (Simon Pegg) and Clive (Nick Frost) are two British sci-fi geeks on holiday in America. 

Directions To Teatro Luna Azul:

From Todos Santos, take the road to the Otro Lado, follow the ocean road past Sol Mercado II.  

Several blocks (or hills) along, watch for a street sign on  your left "Calle Mango".  

We will have  a Teatro Luna Azul sign up.  Turn left here and follow Calle Mango to 

"Avenida de las Estrellas". Turn right and follow this road

until it curves to the right and you see another Luna Azul sign.

Turn right again, drive past the blue house and chili field on left. 

Parking is along the palm trees just before the gate.

One of Diego Luna's well loved movies 
"Havana Nights"  
will be playing this Friday February 25th 
at Teatro Luna Azul in Las Tunas, Todos Santos. 

Doors open at 6pm, entry is free. 


You can purchase wine and beer and tequilla at the bar ahead of time. There will also be a special hot cocktail "Cinnamon Toast" (spiced rum & hot apple cider dipped in cinnamon & sugar) and popcorn for sale.

  

 "Havana Nights" at 7PM.  

If there is enough interest, we will play another Movie of Luna's
 "Y Tu Mama Tambien" after  

Diego Luna will be in Todos Santos on Friday March 4th to kick off the Latin Cine Fest with his new movie "Abel".  Come and catch up on his past movies and see for yourself why he is one of Mexico's hottest new Director and 'star'.
