The Wizard of Oz:  The Crew

Raul Cavazos (Producer of The Wizard of Oz, Owner/Contractor of Teatro Luna Azul, as well as lighting and drums!): A Renaissance man—he built us a stage, lit up the costumes and drummed his way into our hearts.

Dr. TM  (Jack of All Trades):  What couldn’t and wouldn’t he do? With a gentle smile and welcoming laugh, this white hair gent became a cast/crew favorite and necessary sight!

Paty Baum (Sound & Video): With a quiet, calming demeanor, she made it so songs  & sounds could be heard at just the right moment.  Who can ever forget the ultra light buzzing away into the night?

Leslie Crane (Sound): A graceful dancer with ideas for our horse’s prance, she came into our lives at just the right moment offering skill, caring and organization.

Alex Moore (Spotlight):  Spotlight on, spotlight off…continuously & methodically showcasing our scenes, coloring throughout the darkest nights…always wanting to do his best…and he did!

Barbara Holman (costumes, dresser, tickets): We loved her calming, smiling, graciousness that never faltered and gave us all confidence that the show would be great in spite of wind, dark and the flu.

Barbara Lee (Props/dresser): Gave her a prop list and never had to worry again; she was everywhere at once making certain stuff was in order; helped dress, undress and dress again in oh those many scenes. Trooper and a perfectionist…thank goodness for us.

Denise Steffenhagen (Dresser, Seamstress, Bartender): A woman who likes the background so that others can have their day in the sun; nevertheless, those who know appreciate all her many star-like qualities.

Linda Summers (Seamstress of Back Curtains): Whipped up ten sparkly curtain panels for Emerald City in no time flat and was helped in making the costumes also. Sparkly Linda!

Bud Summers (Parking Lot): Made the parking field orderly and safe four of five performance, doing above and beyond so that others could enjoy the shows!

Bud Crane (Parking Lot, etc.): Willing to do whatever was lacking, lit the darkness with candles, providing car security for hundreds of attendees.

Bill Steffenhagen (Parking Lot): Gave us the ability to park what seemed like hundreds of cars safely and securely…his oft repeated reassuring, “This is so great!” was a balm when we weren’t so sure!

Andrea Park (Bartender):  The bar was never so busy as when this mother of the Horse of a Different Color appeared.  Customers flocked and stayed to chat!

Cameron Park (Bartender): Father of  A Horse of a Different Color, he volunteered to serve and made sure we had the right supplies throughout that crowded last night

Miriam  (Alex’s Helper):  Read the light cues up in that cold, windy tower; always asking to help with a ready kind smile.
